핌(FIM)은 2025년 11월 27일부터 12월 27일까지 《Ghetto Bouquet》를 선보입니다. 이번 전시는 2025 서울문화재단 예술창작활동지원사업의 일환으로, 한국 작가 유신애의 회화와 조각 작업 10여점이 전시됩니다. 고전 유화의 표면에는 시간이 천천히 스며듭니다. 겹겹이 쌓인 붓의 흔적과 호흡은 시선을 안쪽으로 끌어들이며 감정의 무게를 남깁니다. 반면 디지털 화면의 빛은 손의 체온 없이도 빠르게 피어나 즉각적인 감각의 시간을 만듭니다. 유신애는 이러한 두 빛의 속도를 한 화면 위에 병치시키며, 감정의 축적과 반짝임이 공존하는 오늘의 이미지를 회화적으로 탐구합니다. 《게토 부케》는 연민이 도덕의 얼굴을 하고 유통되는 시대, 감정이 피로해진 사회의 초상을 그립니다. 윤리와 위선, 진심과 무감각의 경계에서 작가는 감정의 언어를 재구성합니다. 유신애의 시선은 감정에 과몰입하지도, 냉소로 단절하지도 않은 채 불편한 거리를 유지하며 우리에게 묻습니다. 우리는 무엇을 보고 있다고 믿는가. 언제부터 진실보다 표면이 먼저 말하기 시작했는가. 전시는 고전의 느린 빛과 디지털의 빠른 반사가 교차하는 지점에서 감정과 윤리의 새로운 감각을 회화의 언어로 제시합니다.
FIM is pleased to present Ghetto Bouquet from November 27 to December 27, 2025. This exhibition, supported by Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, features over ten paintings and sculptures by Korean artist Sinae Yoo. Time slowly seeps into the surface of classical oil paintings. Layers of brushstrokes and breath draw the gaze inward, leaving behind the weight of emotion. Conversely, light on digital screens blooms rapidly without the warmth of touch, creating a time of immediate sensation. juxtaposes these two speeds of light on a single screen, exploring through painting the contemporary image where accumulated emotion and fleeting sparkle coexist. 《Ghetto Bouquet》 paints a portrait of a society where compassion circulates wearing the face of morality, an era where emotions have grown weary. At the boundary between ethics and hypocrisy, sincerity and numbness, the artist reconstructs the language of emotion. Sinae Yoo’s gaze neither over-immerses in emotion nor disconnects with cynicism; maintaining an uncomfortable distance, she asks us: What do we believe we are seeing? When did the surface begin speaking before the truth? The exhibition presents a new sensibility of emotion and ethics through the language of painting, at the intersection where the slow light of the classical meets the rapid reflection of the digital.
